KUGN Eugene-Cumulus should be embarrased

I recently spent a few days in Eugene, beautiful place. I
could not believe how bad and amatuerish KUGN had become.
I heard the most basic mistakes, as some young kid muddled
through a newscast, elements misfired, and dead air ensued.
Oh it's spelled Cume-u-less...

I worked for them back in the days of Uncle Fuzzy and full service, local radio. A local service of Obie Communications (that would be Eugene's former Mayor). The canned talk shows and anemic news blocks presented by board ops are a prime example of why listeners lost so much when consolidation happened.

Re: 1430 and 590...are they still Jeff Rense affiliates???

Do 1430/Kaiser and 590/Eugene still have Jeff Rense, weekdays or weekends?

Re: 1430 and 590.../Spring Book

Anyone want to comment on the Eugene/Springfield Spring Book?
Cumulus didn't have a good showing, KZEL is in the 3's, KUGN
in the 4's, Star is dead
