KUHD & KSET

I'm getting Spanish language programming on 1150. Is KUHD back on the air after Rita took the towers down? If so, where is the xmitter?
Also getting what sounds like Old School on 1300. Could KSET, Silsbee be back up?

From what I'm hearing KUHD Port Neches is back on from their previous site at reduced power (non-directional?). I haven't been able to confirm anything on 1300 and I can't say for sure if they're really back on. KUHD got an STA approved yesterday (10/25) which in effect negates the previous "silent" STA. And KSET applied for direct measurement last month, an indicator that they were preparing to get up and running again.

I drove near Silsbee a month or so ago and KSET had oldies on it. Almost reminded me of the Drake-Chenault programming of the late 60s.

My understanding is that KUHD is running a long wire antenna, and has been doing so for quite some time. Although I've not been over there in a long time, I've been told that their coverage is next to non-existent. I don't know if the towers are still there, or what's left of their original antenna system.

KSET is back on the air. Oldies format being programmed on the station for the time being, until a decision is made as to the station's final identity.
