KUOW & Metro Traffic

Does anyone else think its kinda weird that KUOW has dropped metro traffic reports during Morning Edition and All Things Considered (probably in favor of more extremely boring farm reports from Anna King in Kennewick)?
 
Farm reports? Sounds like something that should be on NWPR stations, not KUOW...

I'm sure Metro traffic costs money and non-coms don't always have the kind of funding for it. And KPLU still carries it. I think it's this weird "synergy" - or whatever they call it that KPLU and KUOW have that keeps two full power stations running the same morning and afternoon shows somewhat (if slightly) different....
