Agreed. I learned a long time ago that if you're winning the battle, you don't mention your competition at all. They don't exist. Never give your listeners the opportunity to recall their name or call letters next time they get a diary in the mail.
KUPD has won by forfeit, but I think the rule still applies.
Holmberg is a funny guy in his own right, and now has a unique selling point for his show. It's the only one on a full signal (sorry Edge) that's targeting the same audience Stern was.
To use a football analogy, KUPD's got the ball, and they're wide open all the way to the end zone. They should run with it, and not look back. Talking about Stern or Sirius is like stopping to watch the highlights from another game on the big screen.
