KUPD and Loveline

I know it's been months now... but what would the reasoning be behind KUPD not airing Loveline in the late evenings anymore? The show is more than entertaining, and more so such a public service for young people and naive people on sexual health, relationships, etc... If only it aired in MORE places.

Always loved the show in the Carolla/Stryker days. I haven't had a chance to hear much of it lately, but it sure seems like I don't ever hear people talk about it anymore.

I would guess with PPM they were seeing less than favorable numbers after 10PM bringing the overall and nighttime daypart numbers down a bit. Or it could be simply that McFeelie didn't want to break format for 2 hours 5 nights a week. That seems reasonable to me as well...
 
I'm thinking that if Adam Carolla was still hosting then the show would probably still be there. Those were the best years of Loveline and I think it just lost popularity thereafter. PPM certainly stifles creativity and interesting programming, but Loveline was past it's peak and probably it was best to drop it. To be honest I didn't even know the show was airing anymore---thought it had been gone for years now. That tells you how much I 1) listen to loveline and 2) Listen to KUPD at night these days.
