Who, if anyone, is running KUPD? Because it sure isn’t Larry McFeelie. Ive got a friend of mine who works there and they told me it’s pretty much on auto pilot. A broken auto pilot aimed right the ground.

I hear the play lists are coming right from the consultant and the promotions are so old and dated you’d think Pratt was calling the shots. They got ZERO marketing dollars and staff morale is at an all time low.

Its sooo bad that the word is Holmburg and the afternoon guy hate each others guts so much they actually got into a screaming match in the studio that nearly came to blows. I used to really want to work there but now you couldn’t pay me enough which, given how poorly they do day, isn’t very likely.

Its sad to watch a legendary station go down the tubes. Have you seen their trend? Awful.

I agree that the music is a bit off target....too old but they trended up half a point and if you look at the cluster they are right where they should be.

Oh no!!! Please don't tell me KUPD has gone down the tubes!!!! That was my all-time favorite station to work for back when it was a powerhouse in '87.....I look so fondly back on those days......

Your crazy. Things are better then they have ever been. Holmberg's number 2 in the ratings and Fitz is number one right now.

Hmmm what if Free FM could snag one of the teams for the midday gig? Even though I like the triplets, I think I would like them alot more if I lived in L.A. :)
 
More KUPD heartbreak: Massive staff defections.

Here is a list of people who have left since Larry took over:

Dennis Huff, Larry Mac, Cori James, three receptionists, Shawn Rock, Ben Hartman (who had to flee to KMEL), and Lu Valentino.

The man is POISON.
 
Cori James quit? Must have been like yesterday, isn't she the current overnight jock?

That's garbage. JJ took Dennis and Larry with him. Cori? Who cares! Receptionists? Maybe they got their GED and moved on....who is Ben? Lu left because JJ wouldn't give her a FT gig, and then moved to Florida with her fiance.

Holmberg and the afternoon driver got into it again today. This time over a parking spot! Fitz is like 150 pounds over weight and John wont let him forget it. Like he cant see himself in the mirror. Two hour meeting with the GM, PD, GSM, APD, MD, CE and they still wouldnt shake hands. Those guys really hate each other and its just a matter of time before it goes down. Look for Big Dick Toledo to take over one show or the other. Problem with "Big Dick" is the name fits too well. Ass. Hole.

That's great but, and you can correct me if I'm wrong....there is no APD or MD at the station. Puffing a bit? Or lying through your teeth?
 
Now that Cory left, whc is no biggie...and the reason that FITZ hates Holmberg...NOT smart on Fitz's part...BRING BACK Lou Valentino for afternoons! They need spice back in the afternoon drive. Would she come back??? Where is she now???
