KUSC 91.5 / KNX 1070

This afternoon we had a nice DX skip and 91.5 was coming in pretty nice here in El Cajon. Anyway I just about ran into a telephone pole when I heard a MAJOR sponsorhip ad for KNX on KUSC.... Wow!

Hi,

You will also hear announcements for KCRW as well.

There is an agreement between KUSC and KNX. KNX provides a 5 minute news report during drive time. In compensation, KUSC does an announcement for KNX.

BTW, KNX also does announcements on their station for KUSC as well.

This was discussed on this board when the agreement first took place, which I believe was around a year ago.

Heh...I'm a little slow sometime on the uptake!

Still...it is VERY cool that they've worked this kind of partnership out.
