Tuck hasn't been on the air for a few months. I wonder if he got tired of being on the "has been" and "used to be" last chance news station in San Diego. He could also be pulling a Joe Lizura and laying low for a while before popping up someplace else again.
Michael Tuck is currently listed on TVJobs.com as "on the beach," which they explain it to be "People who were once active in our database but are no longer being listed on a station's website, People that we don't know which station to associate them with, People that we simply don't know where they are. These people could be looking for a new place to call home, or totally out of the business, we just don't know."
I've been taking a class with a KUSI newscaster and I was struck when he was always referring to Michael Tuck in the past tense.
I just hope it has nothing to with his health. In 2003 he said something about a disease he has where Iron builds up in the body. He's had tons of operations as he explained it.
