KUT Antenna Location

Does anyone know why KUT's antenna is way out on Crystal Creek instead of up on Mount Larson with the rest of the full-market FMs?
 
I believe UT already owned the site near Bee Cave. There might have also been a spacing issue with KAMU-FM in College Station. I remember when KUT got the upgrade the FCC had to decide whether Austin or College Station would get it. Both couldn't.
