KUTR 820 in SLC drops female talk

Why did they drop it? Is there just not a market for it?

I wonder when Hartford, CT station WXCT will drop it

"Why did they drop it?"

Um, women aren't aware of the AM dial? They don't listen to talk radio? A plethora of reasons... hate to say it, but I'm happy to say I've said women's talk has and will never work, and this is more proof.

Yo, Walker!

WXCT in Hartford may call itself on-air talkradio for women, but they air a slew of stuff that's non-gender specific. Dave Ramsey, Ask the Handyman with Glenn Hagee, The Money Pit Home Repair Show, Pet Talk, Animal Radio Network, Mike Regaen, Rusty Humphires, Bruce Williams (I think), etc, etc, etc.

I also helped out at one of their remote broadcasts they were telling everyone "Talk Radio for Women and Smart Men"
