New Orleans KVDU - Another Tower Site Change

Hey all -

I saw this morning that KVDU 104.1 FM has filed to move its signal to another Baton Rouge area tower site, still as a C3 and not far from its currently permitted location:


There is not much language in the application addressing why iHM is making the site switch. It looks like a very minor move and I would imagine that the FCC will approve it in a matter of weeks.

My guess is better rate moving from crown castle to USPS. Wasn't aware the government was in the tower business.
Moves the sight slightly southeast and still is shortspaced to 104.5 Jackson. But they filed arguments on that and on the fact that technically don't provide city grade signal over Gonzales using FCC rule.

Yet they have been ID as Gonzales for a few months even though it can't be heard normally in Houma or Gonzales
