I recall first hearing David Anderson as part of the legendary J-Team with Dave Jarrott on Key 103 (now Bob FM) back in the 80s. He sounds just as good as ever.

David Anderson is one of those remarkable people who sounds as good (maybe even better) today as he did fifteen or twenty years ago. David did sports on my show for many years when I did morning drive on KASE 101. We had MANY fun moments together, commenting on the topical news of the day. His sense of humor is surpassed only by the fact that he's a great guy to work with.

Indeed, Geez, at one point in the mid '90s, the two morning shows he was on (KASE, KVET) had a combined 30% of the Austin market...
And I seem to recall that the old KEY 103 morning show (Jarrott-Connally-Anderson) was the only show to beat KASE in morning drive in the 1980s (if only for one book).

Maybe someone should nominate him for the TRHOF?

Well they sure don't anymore. Ratings out today show KVET has slipped further from a 4.3 to what I would have to guess is an all time low of 3.7

It shows a 3.3, 6+ 6a-mid Mon-Sun.
It's cute the way they're getting beaten by KGSR-HD3.
