KVET - Now days

I decided to give KVET a listen when I came back from Lavaca county when they came back in range, they actually sound pretty good now. It would help if the morning shows will be able to talk more, I enjoy listening to talk when I head to work in the mornings.

On a side note, I picked up comedy radio K274AX down in southern Lavaca county on Sunday when the cold front came down. I was real surprised, usually Jack FM in SA comes in.

I have to agree with how KVET sounds these days...I like it. And the main reason I like it is because they DON'T talk alot in the morning. If you like nothing but talk...give KLBJ a listen...nothing but talk, talk and more talk.

I can't stand talk radio unless it's a broadcast sporting event. Why the heck should I care about some dude's opinions up in New York? Don't even know him! LOL.

While I was in Vermont, I told my friends who usually listen to KVET to give KOKE a try. While they say they liked the station and the music, I found that most of them were also listening to KVET. It wasn't because of the weak signal as Taylor is close to the transmitter. None of them complained about the station at all. Now, these friends of mine are not radio people and could care less about how a station is ran or what goes into making it work.
