KVET climbs from 14th to 4th in the market!!!! Good stuff!!

I also couldn't see where Koke was. The ratings I saw only went 15 stations deep into the market. Where are they?

Wow. Didn't see that. Have they always been that low? Looked back over the last several months and have not seen them in the top15.

Moving Bama, Rob & Heather along with Bob Pickett to KVET really helped their numbers.
KOKE-FM's always going to hamstrung by their translator-strength metro signal.
But they're not far behind the successful Comedy translator.
Remember KVET-FM was down in this range last year with 50,000 watts.
KOKE-FM's doing it with a translator and a class A out of Thorndale.

Good job!

That's my 4,000'th post :).

Koke covers the market plenty to make a dent if there was interest. 103.1 when it was jammin beat Koke with 150 watts. Koke is non existent.

How does the New I Fart Austin doing in the ratings?

There is no last. The audience level drops below being statistically meaningful. And there are lots of stations, local, out-of-market and Internet streams that fall into that category.

As Fred points out, there is no last, or, more appropriately, no way to calculate last. However, the bottom three showing up in the ratings were KZNX, KWNX, and KVLR. Each were in a three way tie for least listened to among the stations that received at least the minimum number of samplings.

We are having a blast with iHeart Austin...driving around this gorgeous weekend, it matched the mood perfectly. It's been on for about eight weeks, way too early to talk ratings or theorize about a change, not that that will slow many of you down. Great fun and a welcome, refreshing radio experience.

Two AM's and 92.5 K-Love non profit. Look's like people prefer Spirit over K-Love. I wonder what the ratings would like like if 92.5 becomes Air 1?

I agree, I think iHeart Austin is a pretty good station and has not been on long enough for these ratings to even count for that format.

The 103.1 translator has signal problems in my neck of the woods. I'm in the Austin city limits but apparently south enough and high enough that it collides with the 103.1 in Dripping Springs and suffers frequent tropo from BMP's 103.1 in Karnes City.

I still think a flip to Clear Channel's EDM "Evolution" format fulltime would've been a better move for 103.1.

If KVET is doing good now, why did they hire a new PD?
