Their construction permit expires tomorrow, to bad because this LP station would cover a good part of Northwest Houston.

With 50 watts at 50 feet, the station would / will only cover a couple of square miles. That's a usable 65 dbu signal over one-seventieth of the metro population.
 
According to Lpfmdatabase, KVGK-LP is now on the air. At my Cy-Fair location I am hearing a mediocre signal, with what appears to be a stuttering, choppy, dropout prone internet feed with bad audio bandwidth, basically unlistenable. If this is KVGK, they have some problems to fix.

Will check on my morning commute when I drive closer to the transmitter site, which appears to be a cell tower behind a funeral home.

Hearing the same thing on 101.7 up here in Spring.
 
You guys might be listening to the translator that Guel sold. I haven’t been able to hear the New FM in my neighborhood. And it’s supposed to cover it better than the translator.
 
Bad Internet feed? LOL someone's using dialup either that or they need a better streaming host.

Can anyone tell what the programming is?
