KVGS Transmitter Question

Using Radio Locator, I noticed they have a Lake Havasu signal. Anyone know if this is actually live, and simulcasting 107.9?

I had no clue 107.9 was comming from AZ, I'm in Kingman all the time and I've never thought to tune in. Funny thing is, I usually listen to 107.5 on my drives out as it comes in quite well north of Needles on US95 to NV163 headed towards Laughlin/Bullhead City.

According to an application filed by the owners of 103.9 in Lake Havasu a few weeks ago the station simlucasts KLUK Needles CA and not KVGS. The translator frequency I saw on radio-locator for KVGS was 103.9 and not 107.9fm. I would assume the KVGS simlucast was back before KVGS moved into Vegas and was used to suppeliment coverage along the Laughlin/Bullhead/Kingman/Lake Havasu market. region.
In fact the Lucky 98 website mentions the Lake Havasu simlucast on the 103.9 translator they broadcast on there.

The transmitter is in Dolan Springs and I've noticed that the signal is good in Sping Valley but when I get down to the strip the signal cuts up pretty bad. So the booster signal is crap and if the rumors are true they are putting a better booster on top of one of the casinos. KOAS has a 2.5kW booster and Hot 97.5 has 20kW so hopefully something good will happen soon. I'm loving the music on Area 108 and i want to listen at work.

I am in the SW LV area around the beltway and flamingo..the signal is soso...it seems to be better on some radios than others.
