KVIL Audio

Anyone know what's up with the very lossy / low bit rate audio on KVIL? It has been this way for weeks. I assume it is possibly running on a backup STL but it sounds more like a 1998 web stream.

dittos on that! Maybe they could play real AC music like the Dove in Tampa, KONO, EZ in Miami, KODA Houston. All have HUGE shares. KVIL plays crap. Thanks Jim Ryan!

KVIL uses a T1 for primary STL and digital RF link for backup...same path, setup they had back in 1999/2000...(studios moved but the Cowboy tower at CH is still the TX site..it along with sister KLUV and the former CC/now iHM stations, KZPS, KHKS and KEGL into the master CBR antenna and KDMX into an ERI by itself???? geesh

True, or they could go with real AC like KMGL in Oklahoma City, WLTW in New York, or WLYF in Miami. Focus on only 80s, 90s, 2k, and present, sprinkle very little 70s if they wanted too. Dallas is one of the very large market w/o an AC after KVIL clone a stale version of KDMX.
