KVIL Weather Bed

I thought it was just the jock's mistake one night a couple of weeks after Christmas when I heard the "Silent Night" Satellite wx bed on KVIL .... but i've heard it several times randomly since then, including yesterday afternoon... what's the deal? Are they meaning to keep instrumental christmas music as their "occasional" weather bed, or is it a slip-up of some one not taking it out of the automation database?

Sad... :(

The folks at the reigns must not care.

It could be a number of things. One could be using it the set the image of "wintry weather". There times in the past some stations and one I was associated with wanted to liven things up a little when the summer was very hot by playing a a few bars of "White Christmas" when talking about the weather. It could be someone did indeed over looked taking it out of the system. "It's a shame what happened to radio..especially K..V..I..L"
