KVI's radio contests were rigged!

Looks like the Fisher house had a bad fish inside....one of the employees apparently stole thousands of $$ dollars and screwed over both the listeners and the management at the same time.

this latest fiasco can't help this station's image which is already hurting in my view. It will be interesting to see what managment will do to fix this latest mess on the 5th floor.

With KVI's target audience, they'll cite "activist police officers."

it's the third floor...

Well to KVI's credit, they were the first to blow the whistle (on themselves even.).....

All I know is there's somebody in BIG trouble out there.....

Interesting....

There's no mention of the story on the KOMO TV Web site...despite it being front and center on KING, Seattle PI, and Seattle Times....Hmmmmm.... ;)

Now who's watch was this on? Jen Pirak was the head promotion honcho over there with the gaggle of promotion girls. Or would this fall under Paul Duckworth's era, or Dennis Kelly...? Or "sorta/kinda" PD Travis Box?

Would love to know who it was, although staffers went in and out of that department by the bushel so if they're working at an espresso stand, it's not a big name.

And I KNOW this is not the only case of contest-rigging....

It's on the front page of komotv.com right now (1:38 pm).

Yes....buried under the local headlines module as: A statement from Fisher Radio regarding potential contest improprieties .
