KVLJ-FM-LP on the air

Went down to Victoria this weekend, found KVLJ-FM-LP was on the air playing Tejano type format. My guess is they went on the air late last year or this month? That marks 4 low powered stations now in Victoria.

Wow, this was granted on 99.5? I can only imagine what KISS is going to do to this LP when the wind blows from San Antonio.

KVLJ signal hardly made it out of Victoria when I checked it.

It was silent for a while when Victoria Radio Ministries had it but then they sold it to another local church group called "Jesus Es Senor" and they've been on the air for about 6 to 8 months or so. The station is Spanish Christian and is called Radio Victoria (Victory Radio). With only 78 watts they don't get too far out of Victoria but it has a decent signal with almost all of the 60dbu being inside of the city.
