KVON-1440 dropping Don Imus?

I hear that the NAACP is trying to get KVON-1440 to dump Don Imus Syndicated Show. I wonder if KVON will bow under the pressure?
 
In a market like San Francisco, it just might happen, but I find it funny that much more misogynistic rap music can be heard on KMEL.

You can stick a fork in Imus, he's through! Janet's breast and now this idiot. CBS will probably fire him.
 
Being an ex-KVON/KVYN type, while asking about another subject, I called Courtney
at KVON today, 1 p.m., who told me she knew nothing about the NAACP and KVON
in the same breath...

Moot point now...as of 2 p.m. today, Imus was fired by CBS Radio...

And as I asked on the New York Radio-Info post, so should we now concentrate
on the other faction speaking the same lingo and gutter-talk: rap music??

It was announced earlier that the fellow who lost his job at the Boston Globe for
alleged plagerism, whose name I've forgotten, will be filling in for Imus - I guess
permanently? Stay tuned!

Imus doesent have this much power to steal these girls dreams, Two weeks ago they never heard of Imus, The Rutgers womens basketball team needs to accept the apology and move on, This whole thing is out of control!

KCCC in Los Angeles had a week long marathon of Imus. Legal?
