KVOS Seattle (???)

KVOS signed on in 1953 and has been licensed to Bellingham ever since. So why does the legal ID say "KVOS Seattle"? This is the only legal ID they use and I have seen it several times although of course when I go to take a picture of it there are credits underneath!
I guess it's been a while since they actually ran a legal ID!
