Living in Philadelphia PA I usually listen to KVPI 1050 during the day via the net for good Country Classics. The other day I heard them say they are CC now 24/7 so I tuned them in last night and sure enough they are. What caused this move from syndicated talk at night, I don't mind one bit, but I was curious what prompted this.

Glad you enjoy one of my home town stations. Not sure what prompted it, but their website confirms they have removed the talk programming.
Now if only they would remove some of the blabbing from the FM.

I always had an attachment for that area taking basic training at Fort Polk in 1970 before they sent us all to Nam. Radio locator indicated the FM is about to get a large power increase is this true, I enjoy the oldies show at night, the station sounds like a large market. Love the people down there they made us Yankees feel at home
