KVTT Nightime Operation?

It's 9:30PM and KVTT 1110 is still transmitting, covering KFAB and splattering over KMOX. I verifed the distorted audio was KVTT through comparison to the KVTT webstream. They are a daytimer according to Radio-Locator. Is it common for this operator to transmit outside of their licensed authorization or are they allowed to transmit at night?

Well, yes. It has happened before, and there was a week sometime last year where they stayed on almost every night. In fact one night I heard them a little before midnight and I figure they probably were on all night. Whether it's the 50kW daytime rig or the reduced power 39kW critical hours set-up that kind of a signal can do some real damage to a lot of other stations over a wide swath of the country. It may even boom into the Bahamas!
