I don't know about now but when I stayed in Wendover on June 10, 2023 it was off the air.

Wendover is an odd oasis, serving Utah gamblers.. There might even be scheduled airline service there.. I stayed once in Wells..not so nearby.

KVUW...One of several clunker facilities, offered to me by the late Steven Silberberg, to cover a debt owed to me. Seems like the late Fred Weinberg had something to do with KVUW as well.

No thanks.

I believe Jan Gray was the original owner, he sold it to Vic Michaels and vic sold it to steve and steve sold it to the current owner

Fascinating. Thanks for the flowchart. If I saw any of the aforementioned characters broke down by the side of the road, I would toot the horn, wave, and keep driving 🤠

And i think Steve may have been the only one to have it on air but i cant say that for sure

I believe you are correct.

I tried to work a deal with Steven, but any assets that I wanted, he rejected. I even offered to take the crummy 1070 transmitter site in Plattsburgh. Steven owned 1070, but one of his partners owned the real estate with the old studio in the derelict mobile home. He couldn't even work with me on that. He offered me the 700 in Orange-Athol, but no real estate. Hard pass... I don't jump in unless there's real estate involved. I'm not Cumulus.

Bottom line, he didn't want to pay me.

If Fred did, it's news to me. I often mentioned that as a possible addition to our old Nevada Talk Network, but he dismissed it out of hand.
