KWEX Demotes Anchor to Weekends After 24 Years

San Antonio Univision affiliate KWEX last week demoted Monica Navarro to weekends after she served 24 years as the weekday co-anchor.

<a target="_blank" href=http://www.mysanantonio.com/entertainment/columnists/jjackle/stories/MYSA021006.1P.jakle.e80096b.html>Today's Jeanne Jakle column</a> in the Express-News has details. Apparently, the move was made with little fanfare and few viewers have complained. The move came on the heels of a new GM taking the helm last month.
