KWKH's Barney Cannon dies...

This is really sad news - I heard about it soon after it happened and I am still shocked about it. Barney was the first person I worked for in radio - and the one who trained me. Very nice guy and he will be missed - I know everyone at GAP Shreveport is extremely upset as well.

Definite sad news, as he gave KWKH a old time radio feel when I used to listen on the mornings to him occasionally.. I think he will definitely be missed by all classic country listeners :'(

What a lose of a radio icon as well as a down to earth just all around great guy! he will be missed!!
