KWLE: Your Folklife Festival Station

Anacortes' KWLE 1340 will be out at the Folklife festival. They will be broadcasting live music from EMP online (with video.) and on 1340 kHz.

I was down in Seattle yesterday and if you don't have a computer handy and depending on your AM radio - (only the best will do), KWLE puts in at best a faint, but tolerable signal in downtown Seattle with some mild, barely audible splashover from 1330 KGRG-AM. Best reception is along the piers. Seattle Center is OK but noisier.

Kind of a giant leap for this tiny station, but I like that.....

Thanks - HEY heard a friend of Laslo's pulled a no-no there:

That's something I'd expect to hear about at a KUBE Summer Jam concert, not little 'ol Folklife.

What is this world coming to?

Wouldn't say it was anything related to Lazlo, but more likely, somebody with a disturbing grudge against dulcimers....
