It seems KWMZ (Z104.5) has switched from all-'80s to classic hits. I've listened to the station from time to time (via my computer, from Brandon, Mississippi). I have heard a few '70s songs, and even Sheryl Crow's 1994 hit, All I Wanna Do.
Its his personal station and I've heard 70s and a few others not kept in 80s genre such as little river band even a year ago.. I find it seems if he wants it, he adds it to the station and not holding himself to a set formula when I've listened in.
I listened to it for a few hours at work today, and, while I heard a few songs from the late 70's (none released before '78), I wouldn't really consider it a format change. After all, 80's stations have been known to fudge by playing songs like "My Sharona" and "Pop Music," both of which are from '79.
