KWOD Night Jock Gone?

I hear that the KWOD night ranger is out. Anybody know what the deal is? Was it his choice? I think he had been with the station for years.
 
He'd been with the station on-and-off for years, but how many times can you fire and re-hire one jock from the same station?

I miss Nick. One of the best shows on, in this market. Does anyone know where he went?
 
I'm pretty sure that, after shouting racial slurs at patrons, Nick had to sell the sub stand and attend sensitivity training. He now faces deportation to Australia even though he is from Tampa, FL and has no connection to Australia having faked the accent for years.
 
I miss Monroe too! I'd let him snarl at me anytime, just to hear his "fake" accent.
