On All Access today...

ENTERCOM Alternative KWOD/SACRAMENTO Station Mgr. CURTISS JOHNSON tells ALL ACCESS the recently re-launched station will debut its on-air lineup MONDAY, JUNE 6th.

The KWOD 106.5 v 2.0 RADIO WITHOUT RULES new lineup is:

Mornings/RUBIN & SIMS (RUBIN joins from APD/mornings at CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative KTCL/DENVER; ANDY SIMS was most recently doing parttime at KWOD).

Middays/HILL JORDAN (HILL also joins from KTCL, where she handled MD/middays. She will also be MD at KWOD, as we previously announced yesterday on ALL ACCESS).

Afternoons/JEREMY NICOLATO (last at INFINITY Alternative KZON/PHOENIX weekender/HOWARD STERN board-op).

Nights/ERIN FARRINGTON (former parttimer at crosstown INFINITY Alternative KHWD.

Replacing Nick Monroe in the afternoons with a board op is maybe the dumbest move I've ever seen in radio....

What do you expect from the Chief Suit running the Cluster! This person has never been known for any kind of bright lite in this market!

Sure, he only brought in one of the most succesful shows this market has ever seen (Rob Arnie and Dawn). Remember what the outcry was like when he brought these three over from Reno to replace the Rise guys? Obviously Curtiss was ruining 98 ROCK!

Curtiss knows what he's doing. Honestly I'm surprised it took this long for Entercom to clean house from the Ed Stoltz days.

I don't know anything about Nick Monroe, but I do know that Jeremy is a talented guy and well deserving of this opportunity. Don't try to put down someone you know nothing about.

Speaking of Ed Stoltz!

Chris Kidd replies:

Whatever happen to the Ed Stoltz appeal of the forced sales of KWOD?

We know there was an appeal filed in state court.

The way that works is there is an exchange of documents and both sides usually agree to some extensions of preparing briefs.

A date is set for oral agrument and then the judges rule at a later date.

Has this happened yet?

If anyone knows how to look that up it would be something to talk about.

In California approximately ten per cent of thoses who appeal cases receive some sort of relief.

The question is if Ed Stoltz is in the 10 per cent or ninety per cent catagory?
