KWQC Changes

Changes coming to KWQC-TV in Davenport.

Charles King is retiring. His final morning anchor experience is August 26. There's a link on the station's website to send him a note. Charles worked at KWQC for two different stints. A couple of radio jobs in Burlington along the way also kept him employed.

Meteorologist Kris Oetzmann is leaving the business.

Reporter Jennifer Pascua also is leaving. Not sure where she is going.

JP was considered by some to be Charles' replacement. Not sure now who it will be.

Maybe it could be Fran Riley who replaces Charles King. There are also some schedule changes outside the news:

11am The Tony Danza Show
2:30pm Who wants to be a millionaire? (2nd run)

'Inside Edition' will be on WHBF this fall (Although personally, I think the voiceover saying the show was moving to a 'new station' was a little misleading--I mean, wasn't 'IE' on Channel 4 before?) Also, I think this is the end of 'Double Jeopardy' if you know what I mean....

Don't forget...their morning "weather specialist" is no longer there either...
