KWRD-AM Coming to FM

Was on the KWRD/KPXI website and saw/heard a news story about KWRD going FM via a translator.

Dug around on the FCC website and discovered that Jerry Hanszen has apparently secured the 103.9 translator that was licensed to Jacksonville from E-String Wireless for $40K.

K280FH is the callsign. http://www.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/fmq?list=0&facid=156943

Apparently, it is to live on KWRD's stick on Kilgore Drive.

Couple of related questions:

Did KWRD ever officially change hands? FCC still shows it licensed to Russell.

Also, is KWRD running nighttime power now?

Here's radio-info's page on K280FH: http://www.radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/info?call=K280FH&service=FX 99 watts on 144 feet. Great for Jerry to get another signal in Henderson, though I'm not a huge fan of ESPN radio.

http://www.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/amq?list=0&facid=71519 still lists KWRD-AM's 83 watt nighttime authority as "Planned: an unapplied-for station internationally recognized". It's been that way for over a year now. I've haven't heard KWRD run (illegally?) on low night power for a long time.

BTW I've noticed that Hanzen's KMHT-FM has also greatly improved in the past months with louder audio. Sounds like they have a new audio processor or transmitter.

Has KWRD been running daytime power 24/7 or signing off at sunset?
