I, too, have noticed KWRD being off the air and wondered what was up but didn't particularly want to start (yet) another thread about it for fear of looking like that was all I had time for anyomre. I've passed by the studio and if the grass is any indication, it's been awhile since anyone's been there. It's in need of a good manicure.
If it's true the XMTR experienced a meltdown and he's looking to sell it, I reckon that the toasted XMTR just knocked a chunk out of the (unreasonable IMNSHO) asking price of $200K.

At that price, let's hope they're not crystal-controlled. I'm afraid that would be a dead giveaway as from whince they cometh.
Besides, 2-for-$99 isn't all that great a deal compared to $50 each. I bet they'd take $75 for the pair just so they don't have to worry about 'em being there too long. Just hope if there was any work done on them while Goodwill had 'em, the worker knew what he was doing. No, wait...hopefully maybe they tweaked the final for 50kw instead of 5kw.
