I think that is pretty much correct. Hunt Broadcasting was very involved in several "creative" moves to get rim shots into Dallas. The Flower Moound station was one of them.
KXAL and KDVE were a couple of the left overs from those moves. Hunt recently completed the sale of both of those stations to Waller. There is still a Hunt station in Jacksboro that was ophaned by the moves as well. I don't think it is currently on the air, but I've heard rumors that it may be resurected soon to keep the license active.
If anyone wants to live in Jacksboro, it might be an opportunity worth investigating.
