KWRE 730 kHz Warrenton, MO

KWRE is a classic country station based in Warrenton, MO. They serve the "Westplex," which are the western suburbs of the St. Louis area. It has been a full service country station for decades, and has had a classic country format since 1996. They do not stream.

Here are three hours + of KWRE, in good old fashioned wideband AM. The files are 192/44, and were recorded on 1 March 2010. The folder link can be found here:

Thanks so much for this aircheck! In addition to collecting Top 40 airchecks, I collect country as well. It's the only current style of music I listen to. It's great to hear a local country station- on AM too! I do at times listen to WSM (650am) but the jocks don't talk as much and I think they might be voice-tracked on the overnight - no time checks, current temps, etc.
