Or will it be Scott Shannon's true oldies? Dialglobal's Nostalgia format that was on KJWL when it first started? Sporting news sports format?
 
Who knows what the final format will be... I just crossed 1300 while double checking my presets. All I heard was some stunting-type outer-space background noises and a pre-recorder voice telling listeners to tune their radios to AM 940 KYNO.

That's what I thought too. I thought that they exchanged frequencies and gave extra cash to Multicultural?

Maybe this is their new format? All Infomercial Radio. LOL!
 
Now in June and AM 1300 still playing commercials. Anybody heard any word on when (or if) a permanent format will be started on the AM 1300 frequency?
 
KYAF is less than a real radio station.....

Maybe we'll see format flips this weekend. We know FM KMJ's line-up changes on July 6. We need a flip or two....

We are do for a format flip somewhere, its been about 16 months since the last one, when KMJ replaced JACK-FM. Some stations with the same 200 song playlist since they started are getting really stale. I hope we do this weekend.

When I was listening today, KWRU was not running the same format that was on 940 and is now on 1680. They were simulcasting KIQI, which, btw, is the SF Giants and 49rs Spanish outlet in the Bay Area.

Why would they? The Giants were playing Colorado in Denver.
