And, considering it's a sub-par signal on a local frequency (1340), Glen Barnett made a sweet deal on the sale.
 
The purchase was made for the income from the tower site which is loaded with 2-ways, cell phone transmissions and more, not to mention the value of the land. It also eleminates the payment of rent for 1450 KGAM which shares the tower with 1340. Now Glenn will pay rent for his studio space there to RR Broadcasting. 1340AM itself is "worthless", but there is more to come(in the next few years)concerning the FM 98.5.
