KXAM Mistake or what?

I was listening to KXAM Sunday morning at 5:30 to 6:00, and the entire program was from WLNK 107.9 "The Link," Charlotte NC, including commercials for local car dealers (Scott Clark Toyota and Keffer Hyundai). Makes me wonder if somebody flipped the wrong switch, or what.

This appears to be the home station for Bob and Sherri.......so maybe somebody thought it was Monday, and picked up the wrong satellite feed. Or do they just pick up a stream from the internet.

Incidentally, after the news at 6:00 a.m. including local news with Lee Powell, they went dead for 10 minutes or more.

In trying to find what station I was listening to, I had to Google Clark Scott Toyota. On the web page for 107.9 "The Link," there is not one reference to their call letters. Seems like if you are operating a radio station with a website, you would want readers to know your call letters. Why would you want to keep your call letters a secret?

I actually do enjoy the Matt and Ramona show (pm drive) and Cooper Lawerence (nights) on the link. I always thought it be nice for KXAM to go in the direction like the link.

Phil... I think you should have my home phone number....

Yes people, sometimes we get power glitches, computer freak outs, satellite receiver issues, network screw ups and yes... even
our own human error.

So... use your imaginations on what happened here... but I say blame Global Warming... especially since it was actually my fault.

This is a radio information board, not a romance line. Please Take it Outside! JK :-*

Sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants Brian... don't judge.
