I was listening to KXAM Sunday morning at 5:30 to 6:00, and the entire program was from WLNK 107.9 "The Link," Charlotte NC, including commercials for local car dealers (Scott Clark Toyota and Keffer Hyundai). Makes me wonder if somebody flipped the wrong switch, or what.
This appears to be the home station for Bob and Sherri.......so maybe somebody thought it was Monday, and picked up the wrong satellite feed. Or do they just pick up a stream from the internet.
Incidentally, after the news at 6:00 a.m. including local news with Lee Powell, they went dead for 10 minutes or more.
In trying to find what station I was listening to, I had to Google Clark Scott Toyota. On the web page for 107.9 "The Link," there is not one reference to their call letters. Seems like if you are operating a radio station with a website, you would want readers to know your call letters. Why would you want to keep your call letters a secret?
