KXAS (Channel 5 DFW)/NBC's new graphics package

Gotta admit, although I'm not a big fan of TV news graphics (they're all too in-your-face, if you ask me), KXAS's new news graphics package is pretty sharp. It finally gives Ch. 5 a big-market look. Too bad it'll look just like WMAQ, WNBC, KNBC, and all the other O&Os.

Now if they could just get rid of Snyder and McGarry, they might actually have a watchable newscast. ;D
 
I have a feeling that managment will toss them out sooner or later. Ron Burgandy and Veronica Corningstone have had a good ride here in Dallas, maybe its time for some new blood at the anchordesk.

All the graphics production has been centralized by NBC, IIRC, so there is going to be a homogenous, interchangable look.
 
i kind of like the new graphics but it does not say "HD" by the 5 anymore
