Hadn't heard a thing about that, but I know of two I'd like to see removed!
What's Finfrock up to? I never seem to see him on there anymore...it's always the younger weather crew, or Rebecca Miller. Ya know, he started Channel 5 about the same time that Troy started at Channel 8 (1976) but he just never established the same hold on the audience that Troy, or even Harold, did. I mentioned that to someone a few days ago, and the response was, "Who's David Finfrock?" Sad, but true.

I remember back in the late '70s Finfrock was better known for his radio work
at WBAP. Harold was doing the weather on Channel 5 in those days, and he
was an institution in those parts. Plus, don't forget that for most of the years
since 1976 News 8 has been number one; certainly when I lived there it was
always 8, 4, and 5 in that order in the ratings.
BTW, how are viewers reacting to Pete Delkus?
