Yep, the iPhone version even lets you set custom streams for stations not in the directory. (CC, Univision, CBS, etc.) Neat stuff.

I got iheart radio also, but I'm thinking of deleting it since it can't be moved over to the SD card.

Let's go call KVET 98.1 FM, and request Clear Channel to flip that flanker to Oldies. :)

I'd just save my battery on that call and use tune in and listen someplace else. ;D

They probably won't even listen...

If you stop listening to San Antonio and Austin radio maybe you could move to another board?

Bo Chase deserves better. Someone else should pick him up.

Agreed, he is pleasant to listen to in the morning. Unlike Bobby Bones, who is so annoying. But I do like KLBJ-AM's morning show too. I listen to them when the commercials comes on.

Didn't say about San antonio. I have a few stations on tune in on San antonio, also I am DX'n down to SA.

Bo and all those folks did. To be lured to the market and/or the station then be tossed on the street is reprehensible. Well, it's back to TuneIn, since Austin talk radio in the a.m. is pathetic and the music is, well, not much better.

Yep I listen to them and added it to my tune in favorites today.

I also now enjoy listening to Honky Tonk Tavern on Sonic tap on Direct TV. Almost reminds me of what KVET use to be like.

Back to the soon-to-be Austin's Greatest Oldies Station, they're now saying this is their last week. Since the last Saturday night was the last Dance Party, it looks like Friday is the end.

:(

Anyone want to do a tribute site for Austin's Greatest Hits like they did for Rock 101 KLOL?, I got the music, if someone has the AS CAP fee, and web hosting.

07-08-2012 thru 11-30-2012, minus 9 days due to accidentally overwriting 3 or 4 mp3 files. When I am done with my Recording marathon, I will purchase a new Hard Drive and swap it out.

What is the best way to store a internal SATA drive so it lasts 50 years?

You must really like that station.

Yes, I really like that station. Haven't heard music like that since I was 11. I was spoiled then I spent most of my time in San Antonio, which we had a total of 5 oldies stations, yes 5 (counting KGNB 1420 AM New Braunfels.) 99.5 KISS, KONO 101, KSMG 105.3, and KISS 930 AM (KOOL Gold)-The same music played on KLTD 98.9 which was also on 99.1.

Time Won't Let Me, KONO won't play that, nor Incense and Peppermints, No Time Left For You either, haven't hear Crystal Blue Persuasion a heavy staple on all 3 above mentioned stations, or the other Tommy James favorite Crimson and Clover. Last time I heard Sugarloaf's Green Eyed Lady was on a 9 @ 9 from 1970 on Bob Fm (and it was the edit, not the extended play version) Ditto with Three Dog Night "Mama Told Me Not to Come" even Isley Brothers "Shout" Crusin America reminds me of back when both KOOL 930 and KONO would play a handful of pre 1964 music. Bo Chase's morning show is music intensive, so I don't oversleep when the alarm clock turns on. I am trying to find out what time they will sign off so I won't wake up to dead air instead of Tom Kent's 80's show. If I could subscribe to Tom Kent and Scott Shannon's programming I would sign up, provided I don't have to hookup a dish, and the price is reasonable. And sorry I don't do XM it's too processed.

I compare KONO today with Jed Clampett (Buddy Ebsen) of the Beverly Hillbillies calling up Beverley Caterer for boiled chicken hawks, possum belly, and fatback along with a potus for a headache. ;D
