Northern California KXBX Bad Audio

Audio is heavily distorted and very quiet today.

It sounds the same on both the AM and the FM, so it's probably a problem in the STL somewhere.

The audio's never been fantastic, but this is a new low. It's worse than being silent, in my opinion.

As I'm listening to it, I think they just lost the left channel on the FM.

I owe this thread an update.

It seems it got fixed a few days after I posted, so we're back to clean, quiet audio with mediocre processing instead of heavily distorted, quiet audio with mediocre processing. Even my Part 15 station sounds better, despite my lack of any professional experience and use of rather inferior equipment.

That said, if the station is for sale (I think it was said to be in the KUKI thread), I'm seriously tempted to try buying it (I don't have enough money to make a credible offer (especially if Bi Coastal wants to make it a package deal with KUKI, KLLC (Willits) and KDAC (Ft. Bragg)), so it's pretty much a pipe dream).
