KXHT Hot 107.1

The station is not what it used to be

It has lost allot of what was unique & memphis about the station. Morning show is rather boring and consists of just a bunch of call-in shoutouts these days. TK is basically a veteran of the station and I think she is a good personality but the morning show doesn't sound very challenged to do more than shout outs.

The processing is very dull sounding. High end has some serious roll off above 10K. It's not bright at all and doesn't stand out a bit when you compare to to other stations. I feel the same way about the sister station at 107.5. I just wish someone with golden ears would give both stations a good tweak.

Hot 107 is the other hip hop station and still does well because the city is able to support both stations.
