KXLW 96.3

Weak move NNB!!! I liked that format, it had a lot of potential and this new PD seemed to be steering it in the right direction. Oh well, you can't sell a 1.0 12+ and that's ultimately what it comes down to. We'll see what happens Wednesday at 3pm - end of countdown. If you go to www.xrock963.com the top half of the logo looks like the ridges of a mountain...could it be 96.3 the Mountain - AAA? Probably not especially with Bob right next door, but crazier things have happened. With Movin' coming on the air, I'm mentally exhausted by guessing Anchorage radio's next move, exciting times though!

Not sure what direction "the mountain " will go in, perhaps anther stab at classic rock. AAA might be ok, but New Northwest might be going up against itself with that format. "Everything that rocks" just didnt click, as it hasnt in several other places it was tried in lower 48.

Alright - I'll throw out a guess, AAA, full blown alternative (unlikely), or a classic rock/country hybrid...96.3 the Wolf? I don't know, I have a feeling that the half logo up on their website is their new logo covered by 'can you hear'.....anyways, I'm going to eat dinner!

If I were a betting man, I'd guess 96.3 The Mountain, as the top half of the covered logo displays a mountain range above the 96.3.
However, there has also been speculation on this site that this station will go country as 96.3 The Wolf.
Meanwhile, they're currently broadcasting an automated countdown with a robotic voice. Every few seconds, they play funny messages in between the countdown.
