KXOS Exitos 93.9 Adds To Lineup

Raquel “Raq-C” Cordova and Ignacio “Nachin” Sandoval join for afternoons; Cordova previously spent 8 years at KXOL Latino 96.3.

"De Todo Mix" mix show is added from 5-7pm Mon.-Fri.

New station slogan: “más exitos que nadie” — meaning “more hits than anyone.”

More to come in the near future...

And they now sit with the lowest ratings in the history of any Mt. Wilson station. Seems like they need more than this.

It seems like they did some major programming changes because the afternoon show sounds awesome IMO. It's like a non stop party. The music is definitely more latin oriented now. I heard Mana, Sonora Dinamita Pitbull, some old school house and they even had Ramon Ayala phone in. The show is more of a mixshow format and the DJ is actually pretty good. He keeps mixing the music just like if he were playing at a club.

Raq-C doesn't sound like she's faking her voice or like she's being scripted like the old Exitos personalities did. It seems like she's being herself. If they keep it up and make the rest of the day sound similar, Latino should be worrying.

So we have a morning show that plays Robbie Williams every hour, and an afternoon mix with Sonora Dinamita and a Ramón Ayala call in. Whew!

I think Latino in 21st place 18-49 has more to worry about than Exitos in 37th.

I tuned in Friday and Saturday night after 12am leaving work and the mixes were good. I needed a break from listening to KIIS, KDAY and Power mixes on the weekends.
