KXPE LP still off the air

KXPE-LP has been off-air for about three years that I know of.
The specs on the license and how the transmission system is actually set
is WAY out of specs, not good.
And, he's occupying precious channel space for no good reason.

How is that if he's off the air? LPFMs are 100 watts at 100 feet, so only a LPFM can fit if there is ever another filing window. Can you offer any details to your claim the transmission system is way out of specs?

Doing a cruise by on google maps after finding the transmitter coordinates on radio locator, it looks like a dominator antenna.... and thats what the license calsl for. It says 37W TPO for 58W ERP

Hey at least they're not on emitting dead air like one of the Missouri LPFMs was a week ago. That one just filed a license to cover that stated what antenna they use. I've seen the antenna manufacturer's name online before but I'm not sure how reputable it is. FMUSER FU-DV2 New FM Dipole Antenna Broadband Omni Directional 2dB Gain FM Antenna for 1kw FM transmitter-FM Antenna-FMUSER FM/TV Broadcast One-Stop Supplier
About 4 years ago I tested one of these antennas.....Not as well-made as the American equivalent, but OK....
I found the "sweet spot" (ie., lowest SWR) to be around 92 MHz (~1.07:1) and "worst" (highest SWR) around 107 MHz (~1.35:1)...
Tests were performed with the antenna on a tripod mount, on a ~24 foot roof....using a Nicom NT250 transmitter.

Using a Nautel VS300 for 58W ERP isnt illegal... so what is he doing that isnt right?

And how do you know what size transmitter hes running?
I had a nice, long talk with the gentleman, he told me what all he was using.
He is off because of computer issues and insists on using Windows XP.
But on an FCC document he cites "lack of staff".
There is no staff.
The FCC dropped, and is dropping the ball on this one.

For what?

You haven'[t mentioned anything or provided any evidence.

Lying on a government form isnt a good idea, but saying lack of staff vs computer problems... neither is an actionable offense.

If youre saying the enforcement division has visited and measured things.. thats different. But unless they caught him in the act before he went off, they cant do much.. they have to catch him in the act of modulating over power.

The coordinates are off as well for the transmitter. It is showing at the house at the corner. About 30% of LPFM stations are not at the correct licensed site.

If you feel like helping KXPE-LP go look up their FCC application, and maybe contact them if you have engineering experience. I don't feel like sharing their address and phone number publically on this forum, but it's kind of weird if they'll only use Windows XP on the station... Maybe newer versions of Windows they don't trust, too complicated?

ok its a suspension of operations notice the licensee filed in 2021.. so what?
