Rest of Colorado KXRC 105.3 Durango

Is this station still on the air? Website domain appears to have expired and taken over by a squatter.....Facebook page hasn't seen any new posts since December of 2024.

Just curious.

If they are off the air, they haven't informed the FCC about it. Although, I'm seeing more and more stations not bothering to do so, despite that being a violation. Their phone number is disconnected. No website, and no streaming available. I saw a Facebook page for a show they were airing, but that was abandoned a year ago. If they are still on the air, KXRC is doing a good job at not letting anyone know about them.

Call KNDN 960, they own it.

Lots of that going on these days. LPFMs are particularly notorious for closing up shop and simply disappearing, without any notice to the FCC. Other stations are off the air for months, or even years, with no silent notifications. With FCC enforcement almost nonexistent, many station owners feel no need to follow the rules.

KNDN is owned by Basin Broadcasting. KXRC is owned by KRJ Company. However, they share the same business address, but are not co-owned.

The technical director for KXRC is James Burt. KNDN's president is James Burt, tjhey may not be technically co owned, but they are very closely related
