KXTC GETS SOLD

Since we don't care about some station out near Gallup (New Mexico), which one are you talking about, latino2008? It always helps to get the call letters right and it wouldn't hurt to include a location as well.

I swear latino and mrtexmex are drinking the same water... :D

To make this thread relevant, the station sold was KTXC/Lamesa, serving the Midland and Odessa markets. A 100kw Regional Mexican station at 104.7. Sold to London Broadcasting in a package deal which includes KWES-TV and KSWO-TV for a whopping 115 million dollars.

And probably the same computer, same pants, same job, and same house; know what I mean. It's not hard to tell when someone has two usernames. Just like when a local personality comes around here defending their station (prime example, we had this happen a while back when KPWT signed on and employees from KBBT came around)

Back to the subject, I really think that is a huge amount of money. for two TV stations and one rimshot station, that is a hell of a lot of money, especially for the Midland Odessa market.

My bad i did place the wrong call letters... but the truth is that KWES makes a heck of alot of money every year and also lead in rattings in the market and 104.7 may be a rim shot but ,are always able to break into the Top 5 stations.
