KXTJ signal

Is it only me or is KXTJ-lp 96-9's signal stronger than it was last year? I can receive it a lot better.
Either it's stronger or KPPC is weaker.

I've noticed that as well, last year I could only listen around Ingram Rd and as soon I drove down 410 towards Lackland the signal would become faint, and the farther you went it would disappear. I can hear it just fine by Lackland and can drive all the way to the Medical Center without any problems, but if I'm around 1-10 the signal picks up oldies. I've also driven down to the Southside by Pleasanton Rd and as soon as I get there the station flipped to some oldies. The signal seems like it's gotten stronger.

I think KXTJ's really broadcasting more than 100 watts now.
It was fighting with KPPC yesterday east of 281 when last year it didn't make it that far.
Anyone with a meter who can check it? Haha

KPPC is not weaker, I compared it's signal yesterday with last years, and they're the same.

Definitely saw a high two-bay antenna sitting at a Grissom/Tezel auto shop- pretty close to the coordinates for the LP filing. But yes, stronger penetration around Blanco/410 during the day.

I notice they come in and out sparingly. I don't know if KXTJ and KPPC are trying to compete with each other but it sure does seem like it at times.

They'll both have some fun if/when 96-7 signs on, LOL especially KXTJ.
